This week’s scheduled Council meeting has been cancelled due to the current natural disaster event impacting many parts of the MidCoast. An extraordinary meeting will be arranged as soon as practical to address urgent and essential business.

Garbage collection will return to normal schedules from Monday 26 May. Please place your bins out the night before your normal colection day.
🚨 BEACH CLOSURES: All beaches between Old Bar and Seal Rocks are CLOSED while we work on clean up.We are working with Local Land Services and National Parks to ensure the hazardous waste and the carcasses on our beaches are dealt with safely.👉 We know the community want to help clean up, however at this stage we do need people to respect the closures so we can dispose of items safely.

MidCoast Council, under Section 64 of the Local Government Act, levies Development Contributions upon new development to fund the creation and upgrade community infrastructure required to service development. The purpose of this policy is to provide guidelines for staff completing the assessment of development applications lodged for community facilities.
