The Tipperary No 1 Bridge Replacement at Firefly Creek will be underway soon.
The original single lane timber bridge was washed away during a flood event in 2022 and a temporary steel bridge has been put in place since.
A new concrete bridge will be constructed on the existing road alignment and at an increased height.
Motorists are warned there may be minor delays during the construction period which will kick off on Monday, 9 September and is expected to be finalised in approximately February, 2025 weather depending.
The project is funded through the TfNSW Natural Disaster Recovery Funding Agreement.
