The aim of the photo competition was to connect our community with our estuaries and highlight how important they are to protect.

Council is inviting the community to provide feedback on how we manage our estuaries over the next 10 years.

We are developing a Southern Estuaries Coastal Management Program to identify and manage issues impacting lakes, lagoons and river systems from Wallabi Point to Karuah River.

Visit the Southern Estuaries Coastal Management Program’s Have Your Say page to learn more about each of the issues, their impact on our estuaries, what we are already doing to manage them, and what else we can do.

Provide your feedback about which management solutions you believe are the best choices for our estuaries.

Your feedback will be used to prioritise the options in the Southern Estuaries Coastal Management Program.

Have your say at https://haveyoursay.midcoast.nsw.gov.au/oursouthernestuaries. Feedback closes Thursday 22 May 2025.

This project is supported by the NSW Government through its Coast and Estuary Program.
