They are responsible for ensuring the Council operates in accordance with legislation, is financially responsible and delivering to the needs of the community within the means of the budget.

Summary
Lease of 3 Lake Street Forster
Council resolved to enter into a lease for 3 Lake Street, Forster with the Forster Neighbourhood Centre.
The meeting also authorised the General Manager to negotiate the lease, including the provision of a rent-free period to end on 28 February 2023.
Quarterly budget review statement
The quarterly budget review statement for the period to 30 September 2022 was presented, with budget variations noted and transfers to and from reserves approved.
It is a requirement of the Local Government Regulation that quarterly budget statements be prepared and presented to the elected Councillors.
Organisational structure
In accordance with the Local Government Act 1993, a review of the organisational structure must take place within 12 months of any ordinary election.
In reporting this review to the elected Council, the General Manager indicated the current structure is effectively delivering the key directions, objectives, strategies and actions set out in the Delivery Program and Operational Plan.
It recommended no further changes to the three-directorate model that is currently in place.
