Resourcing Strategy

The Resourcing Strategy is a critical component of the Integrated Planning and Reporting (IP&R) framework, designed to ensure that our Council has the necessary resources to support the Community Outcomes outlined in the MidCoast 2035 Community Strategic Plan. This strategy outlines how we will manage our finances, workforce, assets and information and communications technology (ICT) platforms and services to deliver sustainable services and infrastructure to the MidCoast community.

The Resourcing Strategy consists of four inter-related elements: 

Long Term Financial Plan

This plan outlines our financial strategy over a ten-year period, including revenue projections, expenditure forecasts, and strategies for managing financial risks. It ensures that we have a clear understanding of our financial position and can make informed decisions to support our strategic goals.

Previous Long Term Financial plans 

2024 review - A review of the adopted Long-Term Financial Plan was presented to the 26 June 2024 Ordinary Meeting. Council resolved that the report be noted and that a copy of the report and attachments be included as an Annexure;

2023 review - A review of the adopted Long-Term Financial Plan was presented to the 28 June 2023 Ordinary Meeting. Council resolved that the report be noted and that a copy of the report and attachments be included as an Annexure;

 

Workforce Management Strategy

This strategy and supporting action plan address the human resources required to deliver our services and achieve our strategic objectives. It includes strategies for workforce planning, development and retention, ensuring that we have the right people with the right skills in place.
