North Tuncurry Regional Sports Complex is located in Beach Street, Tuncurry and is adjacent to the Memorial Sports Club. These fields are largely sand-based offering superior drainage resulting in minimum closure due to wet weather. Within the complex there are league fields and Peter Barclay Sports Complex.
The complex is divided into two areas with the carpark in between. The southern area is where the league fields are located and the northern area is the touch and rugby union fields.

In September 2010, Forster Tuncurry Touch Association made application to have the northern side of the complex named Peter Barclay Sports Fields after Peter Barclay who, in 1986, put forward a proposal to the committee of creating a "home" for Touch in the Forster Tuncurry area. Peter's vision was for any surplus funds generated from the competition fees and canteen sales to be channelled back into community facilities by establishing playing fields for touch with a club room and amenities.
Rugby League is played on the southern side of North Tuncurry Sports Complex. There are two fields named:
There are currently 8 touch fields located at this complex on the northern side of the complex. All these fields are floodlited. The Forster Tuncurry Touch Association offers a wide range of competition choices including summer and winter comps of mens, ladies, mixed and juniors.
On the Eastern Side of Peter Barclay Playing Fields, this rugby union field is home to the Forster Tuncurry Dolphins Rugby Union Club. The venue offers a superior club house which the club has worked hard to establish.
