For anyone who is in the unfortunate position of having to deal with deceased animals, requests for assistance regarding carcass disposal on private property can be lodged with the Animal and Agricultural Services Hotline by calling 1800 814 647.
This reserve is 1.5km of flat foreshore, incorporating footpaths and bicycle paths suitable for all ages and part of Tea Gardens Riverside Art Walk. Local artists have donated various murals, sculptures and mosaics which have relevance to the local environment and community, and placed them along the waterfront at Marine Drive, with new additions unveiled at the annual Myall Riverside Art Festival.
The reserve has 3 public jetties and 2 boat ramps (one at each end) providing boating enthusiasts access to Myall River. There are also BBQ's and picnic shelters and public toilets in the reserve.
Public passenger ferries operate services to Nelson Bay from the eastern public wharf which is located between Maxwell and Charles Streets. Please refer to signage at the wharf for departure and return times.
This park is booked for community events including Myall River Art Festival and with the Myall River as a backdrop this is the perfect spot to hold your wedding ceremony.
