Little Street Baths is a popular swimming area located just 500m from Forster CBD. The swimming enclosure is situated in Breckenridge Channel opposite Miles Island, within Wallis Lake.
This enclosure is unsupervised and contains marine life and the depth is subject to tidal movement.
The netted enclosure is bordered on the north and south by a timber jetty, with a floating pontoon to the west. The pontoon is utilised for recreational fishing in the channel and cleats are situated on the pontoon allowing boats to tie up if necessary. There is a public boat ramp adjacent to the jetty on the southern side and boats utilise the jetty on this side to load and unload.
Council encourages all users of swimming areas to be accompanied by a responsible person at all times.
