Minutes & Agendas

Members of the public are most welcome to attend MidCoast Council ordinary meetings which are held once a month.

The meetings follow the Code of Meeting Practice(PDF, 6MB).


Request to speak at a Council meeting

With prior notification and arrangement with the Mayor, a member of the public can address a Council meeting personally, or on behalf of a group of residents, on any issue to be considered by Council. If you want speak at a Council meeting please read the guidelines below before completing the request form.

Development Control Unit Meetings

Development Control Unit (DCU) meetings are an opportunity for people interested in a development to understand the determination process. These meeting are held on a regular basis and as required.

An agenda will be available before each meeting and the minutes of the meeting will be available a few days after each meeting.

Reports are included within the Agenda.

Meetings prior to the formation of MidCoast Council on 12 May 2016:

We are currently in the process of uploading documentation for Council meeting prior to the merger of the three former Councils. You can search these by selecting the relevent former Council in the 'Meeting Type' search box .

If you cannot find the meeting you are looking for, this may still be awaiting upload. Requests for information can be made via email (please include specific details such as the meeting date and / or agenda item you are researching) or phone. We will then upload the requested meeting documents to the website. In utilising this system, we will ensure that priority is given to meetings which are of public interest.
