Paul grew up in Forster and went to school in Forster and then Taree. He is a registered General Nurse and a Registered Midwife and has worked in the provision of health care for over 45 years.
Paul has been involved in community organisations and events for most of his life, having been involved in boards for almost 30 years.
Paul has 5 children that all grew up and went to school in the area.
He has worked in Bulahdelah, Wingham, Taree, Forster and Tuncurry, and has lived most of his life in the MidCoast and plans to retire here.
His family is also entrenched in this area.
A member of his family still owns, and lives in his grandmother’s original house in Forster.
