Environment Protection Licence #12586
The Lansdowne sewage treatment plant Environment Protection Licence (#12586) specifies concentration limits for specific water quality parameters from treated effluent prior to discharge. These limits are not to be exceeded throughout the licence period occurring annually from 16thof April. Biological oxygen demand (BOD), total suspended solids (TSS), faecal coliforms (FC), pH, oil and grease are monitored during discharge events as a requirement of the licence. The relevant concentration limits are listed in table 1.
