Published on 15 December 2021
What products or services do you sell?
Serving delicious and nutritious food and Merlo Coffee all from a 107-year-old cottage. We are open for breakfast, morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea. Our produce is ethically grown, sustainable and beyond organic! All cakes and sweet treats are made by our very own pastry chef. We also have a wide range of artisan produce for you to purchase to enjoy at home or gift someone.
If that’s not enough, we have a beautiful gift shop next door, The Greenhouse Collective, where we sell ladies’ fashion, children’s wear, jewellery, homewares and more!
Describe a typical day at the Greenhouse Cafe
Our days are busy with a happy and vibrant buzz at the cafe. We consistently provide good quality food and coffee and pride ourselves on our great customer service.
Proudly showcasing some of the best local produce in the region, we make fresh-to-order meals, coffees, milkshakes and juices. Every dietary requirement is catered for and we always try not only to meet our customer's expectations but to exceed them.
So, a typical day for us is busy, busy, busy and that’s just the way we like it!
What does the next 12 months hold for your business?
Well, nothing like the last 12 months we hope! We’d like to continue to improve and implement new menu offerings, provide a beautiful place to reunite family and friends and bring people and good, nutritious and delicious food together.
What do you like about doing business in the MidCoast?
We love that we have the best customers, local community and the most stunning natural beauty at our doorstep to see and enjoy.
If you had an extra $100k in your business what would you use it for?
I’d use it to finish the garden and create an amazing courtyard area, purchase a larger cool room, add footpaths out the front of The Greenhouse Collective and enjoy a fun night out with my team; I would love to give them all a bonus too!
