Road improvement works are currently being undertaken on Hannam Vale Road in Moorland, between Holey Flat Creek and Juhles Mountain Road. It is expected the works will continue over 6-8 weeks for completion late-July, weather-permitting.

The project involves reconstructing the worn road pavement, road widening in some sections, drainage improvements, correcting the road alignment in places, and finishing with a bitumen seal. As well as a smoother and safer driving surface, these improvements will help us minimise ongoing maintenance costs and deliver on our value-for-money approach.

Lane closures will be required while crews are on site, and reduced speed limits will be in place. Local motorists are asked to remain alert to changed traffic conditions, observe roadworks signage and directions from crews, and travel with caution in the area. Minor delays can be expected.
