It's not too late to Have Your Say
Published on 12 June 2019
Time is running out for community members to have their say on a suite of plans and strategies MidCoast Council currently has on public exhibition.
These documents include the draft communications strategy, draft community engagement strategy, the youth strategic plan, and the delivery program and operational plan.
The communications and engagement strategies are the result of feedback that has been collated from community members over the last three years and include principles, objectives and priorities.
The youth strategic plan guides how Council, service providers and the broader community support and empower the area’s young people, while the delivery program and operational plan sets out Council’s plan for the next 12 months as well as proposed fees and charges for 2019/20.
Feedback on all of these items is welcome and invited and will help guide Council moving forward.
All documents are available to view at www.midcoast.nsw.gov.au/HYS or in hard copy at any of Council’s Customer Service Centres and libraries.
To provide your feedback on the strategies or plans, visit www.midcoast.nsw.gov.au/HYS during the exhibition period. Email and postal submissions are also accepted.
The Communications and Community Engagement Strategies are open for feedback until 4:30pm this Friday 14 June 2019, while submissions relating to the delivery program and operational plan is open to feedback until 19 June at 4:30pm and the draft youth strategic plan closes on 21 June at 4:30pm.
