Bulahdelah Skatepark progress

A community pop up session to reveal plans for the Bulahdelah Skate Park has been organised for Tuesday 10 December at the (Alum) Mountain Park from 3.30pm to 5pm.

The meeting will provide a chance for community members to chat with MidCoast Council’s project team and view the design for the highly anticipated park.

Council has finalised plans for the new skatepark and is again inviting the community along to a barbecue at the (Alum) Mountain Park from 3.30pm to 5pm.

Bulahdelah Lions Club raised an enormous $181,000 for this project, and together with $79,000 from MidCoast Council and $50,000 from the Australian Government’s Building our Future fund, local skaters will soon have their very own impressive skate park, located at Mountain Park.

“We’ll be presenting the final design for the skate park on the day to provide an opportunity for the community to ask any questions in regards to the new facility,” said Council’s Manager of Community Spaces, Recreation and Trades, Dan Aldridge.

“Due to the Bulahdelah Lions Club’s amazing contribution to the project, this skatepark will be one of the best in the MidCoast region.”

Everyone is invited to come along to the (Alum) Mountain Park, enjoy a sausage sizzle, view the design and ask the project team any questions.

This pop-up session was originally scheduled for 12 November but had to be postponed as a result of the recent bushfire event across the region.
