Biggest week of community conversations
Published on 15 April 2019
MidCoast Council’s Community Conversations will ramp up this week with sessions in Taree, Forster and Gloucester all taking place across Tuesday and Wednesday.
The three upcoming sessions are expected to be the biggest so far with plenty of interest shown already through the online question registration process.
Facilitated by Council staff, the interactive workshop-style meetings are designed to ensure all participants can get involved, and everyone is welcome and encouraged to send through a question and take part in the conversation.
“The reception at all the conversations we’ve held so far has been positive,” said MidCoast Council’s General Manager, Adrian Panuccio.
“Those who have come along have participated well and have left the conversation more informed and with a better understanding of Council’s work in their area.”
Each session will run for about two hours and is a great chance to have an informal chat with council staff and other community members.
The Taree conversation is being held tomorrow, Tuesday 16 April, from 6pm in the Council Chambers, Forster’s session is being held on Wednesday 17 April from 10:30am in the Forster Council Chambers and Gloucester’s event is later on the Wednesday, from 6pm at the Senior Citizens Hall.
