We are seeking your feedback regarding a proposed Planning Agreement between Council and the main landowners of the proposed Kolodong residential estate.
The draft Planning Agreement aims to provide a funding mechanism to partially re-fund Council for an intersection upgrade at Kolodong and Wingham Roads, should Council be able to undertake this work prior to the Kolodong residential estate development proceeding.
The agreement would allow Council to recoup 55% of the intersection upgrade costs up to a maximum of $990,000 (subject to indexation).
The agreement does not specify the type of intersection upgrade required. If Council does proceed to upgrade this intersection, separate community consultation regarding the design will be undertaken prior to works commencing.
Specifically, the agreement is between Council and the landowners of Lot 54 DP 1042462, known as 353 – 377 Kolodong Road, Taree NSW 2430 and Lot 61 DP 1252146, known as 327 Kolodong Road, Taree NSW 2430.
