Together!Day is coming to Taree

Following the success of hosting their annual Together!Day event in Forster, the team from MidCoast Council’s Ageing & Disability Services is excited to announce that the event is coming to Fotheringham Park in Taree on Tuesday 11 April.
Together!Day is a free event that celebrates community and inclusivity and aims to bring everyone together for a fun-filled day. Kicking off at 10am and running through to 1pm, everyone is invited to come along and enjoy a free BBQ lunch, face painting, live entertainment, arts & craft activities, giveaways and there will also be lots of information about the support Ageing and Disability Services can offer!
MidCoast Council’s Ageing and Disability Services Coordinator, Liz Green, is looking forward to bringing the event to the Manning region for the first time. “We’ve been running Together!Day in Forster for two years now and it’s always a fantastic day for our clients, their relatives and the wider community. We’re hoping to see some new faces in Taree and everyone is welcome, so we encourage you to bring friends and family along for a fun day out,” said Liz.
If you’re wondering how MidCoast Council’s Ageing and Disability Services can offer support for you or someone you know, the team will also be on hand to have a chat and provide helpful information. “Whether you need guidance in navigating your way through the My Aged Care website, information about the National Disability Insurance Scheme or would just like a chat to find out how we can help you or your family, come along to Together!Day and meet our friendly team,” added Liz.
