Make a Splash in Tuncurry

The opportunity is now to help us create a premier recreation area, right by the water in Fazio Park.

We’re looking for your ideas to repurpose the existing Tuncurry pool site into a unique, fun, inclusive play space that caters for little kids and big kids alike!

  • It could be a water-play area – using existing pool equipment such as pumps gives us a head-start in creating a colourful, refreshing and fun water park
  • It may include BBQ’s and picnic seating – facilities that cater for local and visiting families all-year round
  • It might be complemented with playground equipment, fitness equipment, traffic awareness path or a fenced leash-free area for your four-legged friends

What’s your vision to make the most of this exciting public space?

Stage one of the project will focus on the existing pool site, but through the process of collecting your ideas, we’re looking for a grand-plan that will ultimately create a recreation space never before seen in the entire MidCoast region.

Make a splash and have your say!

We’ve already been out and about at Forster town markets and at Lone Pine Park. Our final pop-up in the park will be at:

  • Tuncurry markets, John Wright Park, Saturday 22 July, 8am – 1pm

Pop by and see us to share your ideas, or find out more and complete our online survey here.

Hurry, as the survey closes 20 August, 2017.
