We have received an application seeking consent for alterations and additions to the following development application, which will be on public exhibition from Wednesday 12 April 2017:

Proposed development     :   Alterations and additions to the serviced self-care housing and residential care facility 
Applicant                             :   Great Lakes Aged and Invalid Care Association Ltd 

Consent authority              :   MidCoast Council   

The application includes the following:

  • Additional 16 resident rooms within the residential care facility
  • Substitution of a 2 x 3 bedroom duplex in lieu of a 2 x 2 bedroom duplex
  • A residential apartment building comprising 20 seniors serviced self-care apartments over three levels in lieu of 8 duplex dwellings
  • Increase in Club Room floor area
  • Adjustments for site stormwater reuse and bioretention area.
